The Stone-Veneer® product line is one of the most
exciting innovations to come along in years. Light, flexible and ultra-thin.
The first stone a woodworker can process.
Richter Furniertechnik GmbH & Co. KG developed and
refined the process and is the manufacturer of this amazing product and is
continually developing new applications for the Stone-Veneer®
product lines. The quality is second to none.
It is real stone and all that see it are
amazed at the seemingly never-ending list of applications. Because of the different geographical locations of the
quaries we use
we are able to offer different colorations of the slate used for the
Stone-Veneer®.

Richter Furniertechnik GmbH & Co developed the methods
used to create a real stone veneer that woodworkers, furniture and cabinet
makers can work with. Each sheet is truly unique and created by nature over
millions of years. This is what gives Stone-Veneer®
such an appeal for architectural and design elements.
Stone-Veneer®
The actual thickness of the Stone-Veneer®
sheets ranges from 1mm to 3.5mm. This is because of the natural
3-dimensional surface of real stone.
This allows for the creation and
design of many things that were previously impossible or completely cost
prohibitive.
Stone-Veneer®, Quartzite...
Here you can note the natural glimmer of the Quartzite Silver Shine.

Some quarries contain a high degree of quartz combined
with the slate bedrock. We use the soft rock from various quarries and from
these quarries we derive our Stone-Veneer® Quartzite
Sandstone, Sahara...
Sandstone is a sedimentary rock consisting of grains of sand which mainly
contain quartz.
It is mined from sand pits in Northern Germany.
Once mined the sand
is bonded vertically with thermoplastic binders onto large sheets. The color
variances of the sand are from white quartz to dark brown. We do not "place"
the colors, it just occurs naturally.
Sandstone is approximately 90%
pure quartz and a versatile product. It is applied to a fabric
mesh-structure allowing for great flexibility.
Add a little heat to soften the backing and...
This little "Smart Car" is shown parked in one of the actual sand
pits where it's new "look" originated
from.

Wrapped around a corner. The grout is actually sanded caulk.
An entire wall can be covered in slate without any special structural
requirements and at great heights.
NanoStone...
Another award winning product from Richter.
NanoStone from Richter is
a real innovation with a total thickness of only 0.3 mm (0.012" - less than
1\64"). This fascinating thinly cut stone can be used in countless
applications.
As light as a feather and very flexible. It may be
thermo-formed, three-dimensionally formed or wrapped.
...and yes, it is real stone.
